G.E. ECM 2.3 Motor thermistor replaced now "pulsing."

Hello. I have a G.E. ECM 2.3 1/2 HP Motor that had a bad thermistor which I replaced. Now when I test it it will run (didn't before I replaced thermistor), but the speed is "pulsing" fast to slow to fast, etc. Just curious if anyone has had this issue and what it could be. Thanks!

I think the problem is that I don't have it installed. I tested it out of the air handler and it needs to be in it. Thanks again!
