Hello. New house, new install of this bath/shower faucet from Lowe’s.
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Pfister-Ka...thtub-and-Shower-Faucet-with-Valve/1000822422

It works fine when showering or bathing. We are on a well and I had to take it apart twice to clean out sediment the first two weeks after install. That seems to not be an issue anymore.
The current issue is that it’s always sporadically dripping. Not a consistent drip, drip, but more of a drip, gluggggg, glue...............drip, gluggggg.......etc.. I thought it was the water not draining out from the shower line when it was shut off. I’ve messed with the latch you raise/drop that makes it tub or shower and I thought I had it fixed. I do not.
I don’t know if I’ve done something when cleaning out the lines of sediment that caused this, or if there is another issue.

What can I do or check to resolve this?

thank you in advance for your help.

The cartridge is what stops the water for you. However, once you've run the shower head it will take 35 minutes for that line to the shower to fully empty out.

Thank you for the reply. This glut, glut, drip lasts far beyond that. It’s happening many hours later after a shower. I can shower in the morning and it’ll still be doing it that evening.

Remove the cartridge, clean the body inside, check the cartridge from all sides, re-install and see if that makes a difference.

Are you sure the seals are in the right place at the back of the valve body?

No, I’m not but when I get it apart, I’ll check and see how it compares to the exploded view you provided. Thank you for that, I bet it’ll prove helpful. I’ll report back.

Looks like it just needed to be cleaned and reinstalled. Maybe a gasket was off, who knows. The drip seems to have stopped. Thanks for the assistance!
