Install washer&dryer power supply outlets on one stud ?

Hello

I have a question like what I draw in the paper.

The reason is I don't want to cut the exist drywall too much,
just want to do the electrical work near the washer plumbing area.

220v outlet above the 110v washer plug , is it ok?

WEll, your link reports an error, and you can't cut and paste a picture...you need to use the button "Upload a File" and select it for uploading.

Not sure you'd find a cover plate for a box that had both the 120vac and 240 plugs in it. Don't think that that is a code issue, though, but I"m not an electrician!

Alternatively, you could put the 120 and 240 outlets into the same 4 6-inch box.

Yeah, you are right. 30 amp dryer outlets are wide.

So it would take a 6 inch box to fit the washer and electric dryer outlets.
