Ok I'm doing a remodel in my down stairs bathroom. Turning it into a full bath. The floors are concrete. So I have already cut the floor out dug down to the waste stack which is downstream from the toilet about 3 feet. I'm tying into the 3" inch stack with a 2 inch shower drain. With a p-trap. Just want to know if I'm missing any thing

On the horizontal we use wye fittings on the waste.
Is that a 3" fitting that is bushed down to 2"? Is that for the lav, and is the toilet on a separate line?

The toliet is connected to the waste line. The shower is a couple feet down from it. And I'm using the 3 inch tee to a 2inch shower drain. I just havent cut the main stack yet and tied into its just sitting there to get the right idea. Wet venting it?

The red is the sink drain that ties into the toilet tee. The yellow is the waste stack the blue is the toilet flange.

Well, you don't wet a shower with a toilet. A lav or tub, yes.
Where I plumb, it would have to be a wye fitting and the shower would either be vented by a lav, or it would get it's own vent before entering the 3" line.

How do I go about venting. Not one pipe in this house has a vent. There's no vent out of the roof or to any fixture. The only vent this house has is a out side mushroom cap vent that leads to the septic tank.

No Venting? Oh My! When was the home built and by who? Every fixture gets a p-trap except the toilet. The toilet is a bowl of water with it's own trap, or trapway. Everything else has a trap added to it with venting to prevent the trap from siphoning dry which would allow sewer gas into the home. I've been in homes without traps and it did smell. They didn't even know because they had gotten used to their otherwise clean and spotless home with that odd smell.
My mother grew up in a home without plumbing or electricity. They did add it and my mother helped with that. My mom was quite skilled with wood stoves and kerosene lamps though. She made the best bread in the wood stove we had in Canada on Lake Quesnel.

Plumbing looks like this on the vertical. Vents go through the roof, and the waste heads to the sewer or septic. Same thing really.

The house was built in 1987 everything has a p trap I'm not getting any smells in the house and the p traps don't seem to be siphoning them selves. But nothing is vented either. I thought It was odd that nothing has a vent.

Every thing just goes to the 3inch stack with no vent

So I take it no plumbing inspections where you're at. None of that would pass where I'm at. Nothing. Sorry about that.

Again, santees where there should have been wyes.
