I have a question concerning our Crane wall mount toilet carrier.
Hopefully the picture will help with describing my concerns (rather than a long story);
This is the only cracking, the plaster around the other three attachments is fine.
Toilet works fine.
I am assuming noises etc. is not a good sign and thinking some action is needed.
Possible solutions (?);
1.) Perhaps the attachment through the wall stud is loose. Open the wall and address? (does anyone know if the carriers come loose, or break?)
2.) Replace with conventional toilet, or rear outlet toilet. I mention rear outlet toilet because the drain piping configuration is a challenge for a conventional toilet.
Background;
- Original installation in 1968
- Toilet was replaced in mid 1990's (1968 one was purple) as mentioned, this toilet works fine
- Wall studs are beefed up where the toilet is mounted, you can see this by the wall configuration.
