I am having a problem with my Ducane furnace model MPGA series I have the trouble light blinking four times for me.I have checked all my registers and filter and they are open and clean.I removed the duct work and it is all clear. When I power up the fan starts and then stops in about ten seconds and then I just get a humming sound. The furnace actually started up fully one time for about fifteen seconds. Thanks for any info you can give me

what is your exact model number?? Seems 4 flashes is related to high limit circuit. There should be a specific wiring diagram for you unit, probably on the inside of the cover panel

The model of my Ducane is MPGA050B3B.The owners manual tells me that the four flashes are the high limit switch.I checked power going into it and I am getting 28.39 reading on my voltmeter. On the other side I get a reading of.316.If I put my voltmeter on both sides and apply a small amount of vaccum I can hear thswitch click inside and I get a reading of 0.01 on the ohms.Yes I do have a diagramin the book. Thanks again

The model of my Ducane is MPGA050B3B.I let the furnace cool down.Went back and checked both sides of high limit switch and the reading on both sides are 28.0.It will come on for about a minute and then I hear a click at the control board and I lose power at the high pressure switch and the furnace shuts down
