Looking for opinions regarding the merits of metal vs plastic boxes for outdoor use.
For starters, plastic boxes do not require connectors.
Metal boxes are more flexible about using/not using different openings (hubs).

We can only use pvc conduit.

Anyone?

I use PVC bell boxes almost exclusively when I'm already working with PVC conduit. I've never had a problem with them as far as durability, and as far hubs go, you can get them in just about any combination you could ever need. (And there is always the hole saw for when you can't:)

Thanks drick.
I come from a rigid/metal background. (I am an old electrician).
But I am hoping to keep up with the times and do a nice looking/safe job.
