Billions of dollars to kill a man that had little blood on his hands, lived in a tent in NYC last year, and eliminated, with inspections, all nuclear ambition.

Something smells here. No viable government to replace him, and for little reason anyway. Qadaffi was happy to fondle blonde models in his tent and send oil to europe. Whats the hell is the crime in that?

The Europeans needed a training game? Or just afraid to take on a REAL foe with big guns?

I say we are headed toward mutual assured destruction between Iraq and Israel, and many points between.

That despot in Iraq is tuning the detonator right now, destined for Israel. And training Al Queda for the next US 9-11.

Is that really it? that's my point.

So what? Never proven and you gave his maybe guy back anyway. Plus its ancient history and on a lesser scale [if by Libya] than hundreds of acts by other countries.

A good French sniper could have killed Quadaffi 10 times in NYC, saved billions, but still all for no good reason.

Some nut pilot from India drove a 747 into the pacific, but I dont see us killing Indias ruler for it.

That unshaven Hitler in Iran is laughing while caressing his jewish destined warhead, as the English waste their time in Libya.

Next time he has a parade, I say 10 cruise missiles should modify his grandstand. Or let the Jews kill him at the UN.

America is worrying about the wrong things. Not for the first time either.

Terrorism is not going to get you.

Natural disasters - some of them related to global, American-made warming - will and soon.

English commonsense was lost on the settlers that came here. Which is why you have millions living in Earthquake prone zones and bythe coast which is subject to flooding.

A small earthquake in the wrong spot would cause tens of thousands of American casualties. The National Guard wouldn't be able to cope so the military would have to be drawn in for search and rescue.

And yet you continue to look abroad for the next threat.

Crazy.

Make plans. Tax gas. And cap and trade CO2 emissions. Electricity from coal should be taxed.

It might cost you jobs but it will save American lives.

You don't need to drive that big truck anyways.

QUOTE] Is "English commonsense" the reason why Britain's troops wore red uniforms when these settlers decided to start shooting at them?

It doesn't strike anyone that Libya is just another pawn in the game? First Iraq is cleansed by us and our allies and though a brutal despot fell, in the end Iraq was the largest stumbling block for Al Queda because Saddam had the largest army and Saddam didn't give two Camel shits for the Jihad. Then Afganistan get's to boot out it's leader in favor of a more "Democratic" regime ,well at least until we get out of there and then it will be run by some Ayatolla and a friend of the Islamic fundamentalists. Egypt gets a face lift and now Libya is on the block or up for grabs so to speak. And though everyone knows that the brave freedom fighters of Libya are the very same Alqueda terrorists we are fighting in Afganastan we still support their noble efforts to rid their country of another dictator that is no fan of the Islamic way.

Gore Vidal said all this 30 and 40 years ago. That the US military favored dictators over any other system, that islamicists were fomenting jihad that would grow, and that Afghanistan would become a military sinkhole.

Red was used as when battles used to be fought in a field in one line, the enemy would have a spotter to count your frontage and calculate your firepower, the hardest color to count from a distance is red.

Why do I know this? lol.
Better question is, why didn't Ian? Lol.

Your global warming, brought on by English expertise and love of coal mines and monster steam belching beasts of machines they shipped all over the world, is the cause of maybe global warming. "warming" is more likely to initiate a new ice age rather than hot air.

With an earth about 40% overpopulated, its all a mercy anyway.

That's truly common sense...

Gore Vidal said this too. About 30 to 40 years ago. He wrote good stuff when he dealt with reality instead of fiction. He wrote several times that the population imbalance in the world was going to be a serious problem, that Asia would end up owning America, and that Japanese car makers would not go bankrupt but that GM would.

Who says the earth is overpopulated? Who gets to make that determination? Sounds like another BS number generated by some global scientists with his head up his ass

9-1-2011 ALDRICH FOSSILS, WALKER, MURITTA 108.jpg

Imagine a freshwater lake in Nevada with about 200 people living around it, with a Safeway 10 miles away. And all public land around. And no Al queda on camel with AK47's, and 6 countries ready to invade you all around like in Israel. You can buy a lot here for 8,000$ with sewer and water.

Been to Calcutta or Hong Kong or India lately? You want cities like that in Vermont? Now they all want 2 cars and 4 TV's.

I get the feeling like I stepped into a fire ant mound in those places, and about the same treatment options are the only solution.

Thank God we have Nevada and vast parts of California and the west where one can still shoot at beer cans without getting a 911 call.

We dont need head up in butt scientists for calculations, you only need to read National Geographic magazine. Common sense
