Question? Will a Energy efficient dryer cost more or less then a Gas dryer

Unless you have really low electrical rates, gas will end up cheaper. Plus, a gas dryer typically has 20-25% more BTU available, so it also dries the clothes faster.

The only "energy" efficient dryer is a clothesline. Drying efficiency comes from the WASHER with a very high water extraction rate.
