Well when it was allowed the joints had to be silvered brazed or flare fittings. But like I said today if an inspector sees copper for gas he will make it get ripped out and replaced with either track pipe or black pipe.

Trailer Park Plumbing

Meter box in the trailer park thus it is considered owners side (Main shutoff outside park, at the street) needed curb stop replaced.

Original stop had busted off when someone tried to turn it off after realizing pipe under trailer was burst. Of course we only learned this once water was again sent to the trailer and water started spraying! Yes, that is a water heater flex supplying water to the 3/4 service pipe to the trailer. Don't know what's up with the other 1/2" pipe with the hose clamp on it.

I saw this interesting use of a closet flange, while getting ice cream with the family at DQ.

Well I have an entry but didn't have my camera
This is at my MIL's house, clawfoot tub, shower curtain all around
The vanity mirror has a light on either side
And of course one light is partially behind the tub
And of course that side has the outlet too

I wasn't there when they redid the house - they hired an electrician
No bad on the electrician's part - it was pre-existing
But I would have removed both lights & put a light over the top
Then moved the outlet to the other side of the sink
I'll grab a pic next time I am there

It's not an extreme problem
But only the shower curtain protects her from contact with the outlet :(

Is she a good mother in law?

Or, is she like my ex-mother in law?:D

She's great, best MIL you could hope for
OK, she's here today.....but I didn't have to type that
She comes up for 2+/- days every week
Sometimes takes our son for the weekend or if we are going somewhere
She would probably be here more, but she lives an hour away & HER mother is 97 & she keeps an eye on her

Good deal!
I have one like that now...

My first one died when the vest she was wearing went off and blew up a bus in some middle eastern country...
Or was it when she drove the passenger airliner she had hijacked into a building.

The come both ways and it is not always apparent at first....

Is it at least on a GFI circuit?

Yes it's a GFCI outlet, I checked

I wired up (3) CO/smoke alarms a while ago, interconnected & all set
It wasm't tyhat much more $$ to buy 6 of them off **** w/shipping then buy just 3 for my house at HD

Last year I went down & on Easter I ripped all the vines out around her chain link fence. I had been doing little bits here & there in the past. But I told the wife lets go down earlier so I can get the whole thing done

If the customer wouldn't fix that gas valve situation on that water heater, I'd have the local gas utility company out there immediately shutting that service off. Don't care if it was cold or not; hotel room would be safer at that point.

Let me guess; he was valving that down to control flow...?

That black burnoff is pretty indicative of a straight flame.

We know why that shiny new brass valve is in there too; plastic one melted.

I'd rather see pieces of wood in that burner chamber than natural gas. FFS!:D

Back in 2006 a guy mad a post about trying to plumb in a stand pipe drain for his washer. after seeing the end result I just wanted to cry.

Some one should of told him to just run a drain to the pump pit, or use a pump -in-a-box set up. *wipes away some tears*

LOL!!!!!

They don't seem to mind showing off linkbacks to this site....winning pig slop awards to polish off quite nicely! :p

And I like this one,

Sometimes I really could sponsor the mentally retarded, and prize them for their efforts!
