: I've posted this reply before to the same question and got no negative (or other comments). In my family home we also have cold spring water as our main source of supply. It's a constant 55 deg. Because of the toilet sweating in the summer, many years ago my dad coiled 50 ft. of garden hose in the bathroom closet feeding the toilet to bring the water up to room temp. This jury rigged solution is still working to this day, 20 years later. Of course my brother, who lives there takes care of it and so far so good. Any comments? Cheers, Rughead.

: : I use water from a well. It is verrrrry cold. When the toilet tank fills it sweats and I get water on the floor under the toilet tank. Any suggestions other than air conditioning the bathroom to the same temp as the water?

Just buy some 3/8" styrfoam and line the inside of the tank. Use a waterproof glue. Some liner kits are available from your local hardware store. Hube
