Once you see the two side by side the differences will be apparent. But I once had a soda fountain repairman try to break a cast iron fitting off the drain spud. He could not do it because it was a 2000# forged fitting that looked almost exactly like a cast iron one. : hi, how can you tell the diference between cast iron and malleable fittings by looking at them. thank you
