I understand what across from the sink means, I / we don't know that that means as to your layout of the kitchen for routing pipes. Only you know your layout and how you can best apply the suggestions. BTW, Gary's recommendation on piping and valves is more than right on.

: : Sam,

: : Not sure what "across" from the sink means as it relates to your construction / layout. But, assuming that you have cabinets between the sink and the refrig, you can run the line under or through the base cabinets. Another choice may be to go up from the sink into the ceiling and come down in the wall behind the refrig. Hope the ideas help.

: : : I am going to purchase a ice and water dispenser refrigerator which will sit across from my sink, and the water tank is located behind the sink. My kitchen floor is concrete. What is the best solution to install a water line to the water tank?

: Refrigerator sit "across" in front of sink.
