: I am planning to purchase a Toto Drake ADA height toilet. They offer an insulated tank. The Toto staff told me via email that prevents sweating. I have had a problem with sweating on our old toilets. Do you think I should go the extra money for the insulated tank (about $30 or so)? Thanks.

The new 1.6 gallon toilets hold close to 3.5 gallons in the tank, thus sweating is rare.
Some water will remain in the tank that is close to room temperature.
The extra $30 for the insulated tank is not much though.
I factory ordered some for a customer that had a well. I haven't heard back from him though.
If you don't mind the wait for the SD tank, "insulated", I would say "Go for it."
