|In response to Re: Replacing roman tub fixtures|
Finally got the roman tub handle situation taken care of. Just to follow-up: I did go to a plumbing distributor, and found out that it was Price Pfister. I bought just the handles, hoping to use the assembly below the deck of the tub. The faucet still didn't fit right, so I ended up having to buy the assembly unit anyway. Long story short, it is finally fixed. Thanks for everyone's input.
: If you are talking about replacing the Roman tub faucet - this means the entire assambly BELOW the tub deck - of course it does not matter.
: But if you think you can just replace the trim ( the handles and spout) you have only a few choices. It will have to be the same brand for sure; and your choices of models and finishes will be limited depending on the brand and how old your unit is.
