In response to Re: One trench for gas, water and electrical?
: : Can you use one trench for gas water and electrical as long as the minimum depth requirements are met for each?

:
: I do it a lot, BUT I get the local utility to give me permission in WRITING and get a permit pulled ....showing the piping arrangement and have it stamped "APPROVED"

:I might add that it's wise to keep a seperation between the various lines, in case there is a future break inany of them and someone (you) has to go back and make a repair. As I did yesterday after a laborer put a pick thru a polyethelene gas line (trice) which had just been laid a few days earlier. Needless to say, he was escorted off the job.
:
: It can save thousands of dollars easily using one trench for all services
