In response to Re: Kohler Rialto - toilet seat problem
: : : I loosened the screws that attach the toilet seat to the basin to install a child's seat (I have a 3 year-old). I cannot retighten one of the screws, but it won't come out, either. Any suggestions?

: : Aren't the nuts for the seat bolts in the toilet tank on a Rialto, you need to hold back on the nut while tightening the screw from the top.

: Are the nuts covered? I checked the toilet tank and it seemed like there was a housing encompassing where the nuts would be.

The Rialto toilet seat bolts go through the toilet into the toiet tank and stick into the water, you can't see them only feel them, the original bolts and nuts were stainless steel, now they are probably plastic. There shouldn't be any cover over the nuts from the bottom.
