In response to Re: Cutting concrete for drain
: I am planning a wet bar in my basement and want to tap into the existing three piece rough-in. The run will be between 25-30 feet. It is a straight shot across an unfinished room to the drain but will need cut a channel in my basement floor. What would the best way to cut the concrete channel and how difficult? What would be a reasonable charge to have it done professionally?

: Thanks,

Before you start the project, make sure you will have enough pitch on the drain piping heading towards the tie in point, on 30' you will have a 7-1/2" drop based on 1/4" pitch per foot.
If that's not a problem, get a few estimates on what it will cost to cut/trench the cement for the channel.
