I'm installing a laundry room on the same wall as a bathtub. Currently, the tub drains through 2" Galvanized to a 4" Cast Iron Main. There is a 3" galvanized vent that feeds this tub, breaking off downstream from the 2" connection.
I was hoping to tie my washing maching standpipe (post p-trap of course) into the 2" drain line (e) from the bathtub, upstream from the vent t.
Will this 3" vent be able to serve both fixtures? Will the 2" drain line serve both fixtures? Can I tie into the 3" galv vent and use it for my drain? I have very limited space and am dealing with some poured lead connections.
