I have a rental house that I am remodeling, to now sell. The house was originally built with washer and dryer area in place of a standard tub/shower in the master bathroom. It has bi-fold doors that cover the opening. I would like to remove the doors and install a tub and shower surround. The basement is open below. Plumbing is run to the left side of the back wall where the washer sat.
Any suggestions or concerns with this project? The goal is to increase the appraised value as well as make the home more appealing.
