We installed a new Kohler toilet earlier this year. We occasionally notice damp grout line around the base of the toilet. We reinstalled twice with a new wax rings each time - the "40% more wax" type - and even went so far as to get a replacement toilet, but still notice the problem. I can't figure out the problem nor why it only happens every two or three weeks or so. I want to correct it so I don't end up with damage to my subfloor. Should I just give up and put myself at the mercy of a plumber from the yellow pages?!?! |
