Despite having specified a seamless, maintenance-free
bath/shower, my contractor was under the false impression that all Sterling units were no-caulk.
I am a novice but checked out the info on the internet. He was not pleased to learn that he would have to caulk.
Meanwhile, the Performa was already paid for and on my property. Does anyone know if putting silicone on both vertical seams and along the tub will really be water-tight, or should I continue to stress about the long-term use of this unit?
