|In response to Re: Two Champion toilets on same vent|
it could happen if you have desccribed the piping correctly, because that first toilet could create a suction in the second one, but it would not happen the other way around.
: I have two bathrooms, one vintage 1959, the other circa 1989. I replaced both toilets with Champions. when I flush the Champion in the older bathroom, it siphons water out of the bowl in the other Champion toilet in the newer bathroom. The original bathroom plumbing waste line is furthest away, then the newer one is about 3 feet after that. Whoever built it tapped into the same roof vent, which is about 4 inches wide. When flushing the Champion in the newer bathroom, in does not remove water in the other toilet. Before replacing these toilets, there was no problem with this. The roof vent in not plugged and this is on a septic system.
