Reply: The main problem could be that it won't work. Depending on age, the piece may need to be cut out for removal, (sliced & peeled). Why are you going to remove it? You will need to be concerned about the drain assembly under the bathtub, a leak can develope easily. Is there access from the back wall or from below? e-plumber
