: Mike, I would suggest you use a no-hub connector rather than a Fernco. The work more or less the same,but the no hub is better and can be buried. I've never worried about the pipes touching or not. A Men to a real plumbers advice. I would not use a Fernco excpt possibly as a garbage can liner |
