To have a seat costing that much, it must be a Rochelle or similar toilet. Replacing it will mean you will lose the "non overflowing" feature of that toilet, since there are no current ones made that are non overflow models.

: I have a 25-year-old Kohler one piece toilet that needs a new seat - 9 years ago they were close to $150. Instead, I plan to buy a new TOTO toilet (already have a Carlyle in another bathroom and have been very very happy with it). Problem is - this bathroom already has a "harvest gold" tub. Of course, I cannot get a "harvest gold" toilet. The tile on the wall is white with gold flecks and the one-piece vanitytop/sink is white and gold marble effect. The stool is on the opposite wall from the tub - think I should go white or what would be closest in color to the harvest gold?
