In response to Re: What to replace defective Kohler Rialto toilet with...
:1. The Rialto can be repaired; but it has been a troublesome model and many folks would rather get rid of it.

2. The Ingeniul flush is OK; it is used in many Kohler models including the popular Wellworth series. There are better flushers; the Kohler Cimarron is new, so feedback from the field is thin, but it appears to have a better flush, using the larger flushvalve opening. It is only available in white at this time, I believe. With any new models, it could have eccentricities which are not known yet.

Consensus generally gives the nod to several models from Toto as the best flushers, but then you cannot match the color.

I am not a designer, so this is just my 2 cents: would it be so bad to have a white toilet, possibly accenting with a pink seat, or of those fluffy pink tank lid covers, etc? Or would this be heresy!

Again IMHO this is a good reason to stick with white fixtures, and do the "decorating" with tile and other more easily changed accents.
