And what would an attorney do? Sue God for not changing the rules so that falling water would be silent?

: We've changed out to quieter low flow and even old "regular" toilets. We've opened the walls up, wrapped the 3.5" cast iron pipe with a sound insulating putty and then added more insulation from toilet and tub drains on the second floor to the basement....and virtually no improvement in the noise level.
