The lot size is immaterial, since you could have a 3,500 sq. ft. house on it. The size and shape of the yards iw what is important, but it will cost a lot more in copper, and many of the installers will only know how to work with PVC. : What is the approximate cost to install an automatic sprinkler system for a home? the lot size is 5700 sf for the front and back yard in copper.
