In response to Re: Woodford Model 27 installation

: I want to replace a plastic Woodford Model 20 spigot (outside faucet) with a Woodford Model 27. The package shows the Model 27 drawing and says to mount it with the spout level with the handle. The model 20 thats on the house is mounted with the spout at about a 45 degree angle from the handle making it lower than the handle. Should I mount the new one like the old? They do look alike only the old is plastic and the new is brass.

The hose bibb you're installing is a frost free type, follow the installation instructions closely or the bibb may not work properly, hold water, freeze and burst if you're in a cold climate.
