There are limits on total vent length and the % that can be horizontal, but with only 6 DFUs and a 1-1/2" vent you're not to hit them. I think Illinois would give you 100' of which 20' could be horizontal--most other codes are going to be similar or less strict. Slope the horizontal part like hj said. The only code issue I can see is that many codes no longer let you run a 1-1/2" vent through a roof--they want you to enlarge to 3" at least 12" below the roof, to keep the vent terminal from freezing over. For a summer cottage it's going to make absolutely no difference, but if you're a purist you could enlarge the vent terminal while you're up there.
