: From what I have seen of these boards, Sylvan will appreciate this. Inspector was out today to check out in floor plumbing before we poured our basement. Everything was fine but then I mentioned to him that I would be putting in a loop vent for the kitchen sink as it was against a solid log wall and I had nowhere to go. He stated that he did not want to see a loop vent but rather an AAV. From what I have read these boards that did not seem like a good idea. Thoughts?? Loop Venting I am not thrilled with BUT AAV is not a venting option as far as I am concerned.
