If yours is not a two story residence that drawing does not apply to you. In most cases, a lack of venting will cause few problems during normal operation of the toilets. : Looking at the picture in the post below, I have a question on venting a toilet in a bungalow. I see in the picture that the first floor toilet is vented so I went down stairs and looked at mine, no vent. It is directly plumbed in to the main line that goes to the septic tank. I do notice sometimes that the toilet doesn't flush the best, could it be getting air locked due to the lack of a vent. So if I need a vent, how hard would it be to install one. : Thanks
