|In response to Re: basement drain problems|
: I recently had tree roots cleaned out of my exterior drain line below the driveway. Everything seems to draining fine since, but the water level in the basement toilet seems to be very low. Is this a sign of a further problem outside? I've turned on multiple fixtures upstairs and gone down to see if the toilet is gurgling, but have not been able to catch it.
Sounds like you still have a partical blockage.
Try removing the toilet and using a 3/4" snake rod it to the main trap.
To many folks only snake down stream when clearing a stoppage and never think of rodding up stream too.
If it continues get a video inspection
