: I cant figure this out. I turn on the hot water to run the shower. I only turn the cold on a quarter turn (maybe) and the hot cuts out. I am forced to continually mess with the cold water knob till the temp is bareable. Any advice is appreciated. This is most annoying and dangerous I'm with e-plumber. I would be for pulling the stems and checking the washers first. Sounds like it could be a loose or swollen washer.
