Thanks everyone for your comments. I know the front loaders are the new thing but I am used to my water saver where I can use my rinse water for my next wash load. Also, I like to control the machines to open in the middle of the cycle to add something if I want to and you just can't do that with a front loader. Then, too, the cost of the new machines are exorbitant compared to a regular washer. Oh well, so long to the good ole days! Joan
