: If you do not wish to patch the floor sometime in the future when the toilet needs to be replced you will install the toilet on top of the finished floor. : : What is the best way to set toilets with a tile floor and with wood flooring. Do you set it on top of subfloor and butt tile, or flooring against it, or set the toilets on top of tile and/or flooring after laid. Thanks : : ken
