In response to Re: Size of drain lines in basement floor
: I understand that horizontal drain lines in a basement floor must be a minimum of 2". Is 3" still acceptable for a toilet or must that be upgraded to 4"? Thanks in advance.

Reply:
Most codes allow 3" for underground sanitary lines, check yours.
No piping under 2" is allowed to be buried, horizontal OR vertical pipe (rising out of the cement).
