: I put one of those chlorine tablets in my toilet tank, since the packaging said it was safe for toilets. Now I've noticed that the toilet "refills" every couple minutes or so - seems like the rubber seal around the drain is slowly leaking. Did the chlorine tablet damage the seal? What can I do? Yes
Replace it and do NOT use any kind of cleaner tablets, blue stuff, etc, etc, in your toilet tank.
The newer toilets are coming with instructions not to use these type of products.
