Most pipes have the openings preinstalled and most only have one, but some have two opposite each other. If yours does not have them already, or you can get an adapter to make another opening, then you can have as many as you have room for. : Another one of my dumb questions related to basement plumbing. I am installing a sewage ejector pit and pump in the basement to handle the basement plumbing fixtures. Two questions: : 1. Can I have more than one drain line draining into the pit? The reason I ask is that if I can do that I can eliminate at least one pair of 45 degree bends in one drain. : 2. Is there anything I should pay particular attention to when installing a sewage ejector pit and pump beyond the basic venting and sealing requirements?
