I was just talking to an old timer about this yesterday. I was told you can soak the end in some sort of acid. Don't know what kind but he will soak it and drive it back in. : From my experience, not really. As a kid I watched old timers try everything from firing a 12 guage shotgun down the well,rather interesting to watch, to trying reverse flushing. In the end the point was always replaced. : : Is there a way of cleaning the screens of a sand point well?
