Reply: I have enough 220 wire and a spare breaker left over from an upgrade last month. I'll switch it over this weekend then. With our hydro rate change this month, less electricity the better.

: : 1. You can use smaller gauge wiring due to the lower current;
: 2. Most motors which are dual voltage design will run with greater overall energy efficiency if run at 220, thus a savings on your electric bill.
