If the cantilever is not sealed off from the rest of the open space, then the warm air from the house should circulate out there and keep things at a usable temperature.
: I want to move the rough-in for the toilet four feet to the opposite end in my rectangular unfinished upstairs bathroom. The ideal position for the toilet is in the two foot cantilevered area. I think the slope will work, but am concerned about any code requirements and pipes in that area. I'm in Boise and the cold temperature extremes can hit below zero F, but that's rare. Pointers please before I waste someone's time driving out for a bid. Thanks!
