: Increasing the pressure to 30/50 or 40/60 won't cause the well to produce less water, the house will just use a bit more water than with 20/40 psi. It would be very odd for a well system to not be capable of increased water preesure in the range of 40/60 psi. And if that were the case, it would be a problem with the pump not being capable of the higher 'head' of the system. : Gary I stand corrected. However in our area, some drillers do put in pumps that are under-powered and with fewer stages to avoid over pumping a well that is a low producer. |
