I assure you, the basic steps were taken when the problems first came into evidence. This has been a long-building series of problems; hence my frustration.

I am living with a family friend because I am broke. I can't afford to hire a plumber to take care of a house someone else is renting (nor would I, if I could afford it ). Thank you for your advice, but I'm afraid you've missed the gist of my point. I KNOW things need to be fixed; I need to convince my friend of these facts.
