In response to Re: LP gas questions
: We just had a basement installed under our mobile home. I want to do some remodeling and want to take the water heater and furnace downstairs.
: I know I will have to put in vents for air and have the exhaust vents fairly well figured out.

: I just want to know what problems I am overlooking.

: Thanks for any advice

When I gave welding safety classes one of the very few questions for an atuomatic failure was asking about having LP fuel under ground. ONLY two types of fuel as far I know are legal under for under ground use, one is natural gas and Acetylene as BOTH are lighter then air and thus do not pocket like Propane or other very dangerous fuels.

You had really check your local codes very carefully
