I never heard of anything like that BUT then again the SPC and some of the other codes are GRAFT/ Kick back driven in my opinion so anything is possible. Think of the money that had to exchange hands to allow a vent to be made of thin plastic and rubber and used indoors. GOOD OLE American GRAFT at work and stupidy on a committee works every time. Money talks and safety and health take a back seat Why would anyone want an air chamber with moving parts that are prone to failure.
