I would check with a plumbing supply house or a big box store to replace the shower faucet with a temp. control one. Maybe the landlord would pay. You probably have a problem with changing water pressures. If the control valve is a temp. control one, then possibly a bad cartridge. : Whenever I take a shower, I can hardly control the water temperature. It will get exteremely hot and cold haphazardly. If I push inwards on the cold water handle, the water gets extremely hot for a few seconds. It won't stay on a specific temperature for more than a couple minutes at most. I live in an apartment building if that makes a difference. Any advie would be greatly appreciated. Tahnk you.
