If you tile to the door, there is no way you will ever be able to seal the joint to keep water from entering the crack. The tile is normally installed to the edge of the tub and then the door is centered on the front edge of the tub.
: I am installing a sliding glass door tub enclosure in new construction. A friend says that I should attach the fram directly to the drywall and then tile up to the frame. I have only ever seen them/installed them in an already tiled bathroom. I felt that it should be attached to the tiled (water proofed) surface. So who is right?
