Thanks for the quick reply. I opened it up again, plugged the ABS drain, added a cup of water in the shower around the plug just above the 2" ABS, and it went right through, coming out on the floor. Evidently there is a bad leak right at the drain fitting. This of course does not rule out others further down. I'll take your advice, provided I can do all these, or else call a plumber. |
